Tina Knowles is shutting down speculation that Beyoncé bleaches her skin.

On Saturday (November 25), Bey dazzled the chrome carpet of the L.A. premiere of her concert movie Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, wearing a metallic gown and platinum blonde hair.

Social media users were quick to comment on the Grammy award winner's appearance, with some claiming that her skin looked lighter than usual.

"She's not a Black woman," one social media user wrote. "She whitens her skin," another claimed. "She lied on her origins," a third said.

Bey's mother included these comments in an Instagram post, slamming the "ignorant claims" that her daughter isn't a proud Black woman.

"Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white," Knowles captioned a video featuring the comments.

Knowles went on to explain that Bey's look was an homage to her song "Alien Superstar."

"How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown. . ALIEN Superstar duh!" Knowles wrote on Instagram.

In her caption, Knowles also called out a "white woman" from TMZ who allegedly reached out to her daughter's hairstylist in an attempt to get a statement about the fan speculation. Bey's mother also pointed out that other Black celebrities have previously worn platinum hair but weren't accused of trying to be white.

"I am sick and tired of people attacking her. Every time she does something that she works her ass off for and is a statement of her work ethic, talent, and resilience. Here you sad little haters come out the woodwork. Jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards, you perpetuate those things. Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don't like her. , I am sick of you losers," Knowles said.

"I know that she is going to be pissed at me for doing this, but I am fed up !" she continued. "This girl minds her own business. She helps people whenever she can. She lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times."

Celebrities and fans supported Knowles' sentiments in the comment section of her post.

"People failed to realize she was in Chrome silver, with Silver hair! Her skin tone was ofc going to reflect the color on her body those tones make you lighter!" one social media user commented.

"I love you so much Ms. Tina! She deserves to be protected in this way!" Keke Palmer said.
