Quavo, Playboi Carti, Jacquees, & More React To Death Of Rich Homie Quan

Celebrities and fans are mourning the loss of Atlanta-born rapper Rich Homie Quan, who died at the age of 34.

On Thursday (September 5), news broke that Rich Homie Quan died from an alleged drug overdose.

The rapper's family told TMZ they are "shattered and heartbroken by his sudden death." A spokesperson from the Fulton County morgue confirmed to the outlet that RHQ died in his Atlanta home. No cause of death has been officially reported.

Boosie Badazz was among the first celebrities to speak out about the fellow artist's tragic death.

"JUST GOT WORD @RichHomieQuan JUST OD JUST TALK TO WUAN THE OTHER DAY," he tweeted on X, formerly Twitter.

Boosie shared several other tweets in remembrance of RHQ.

"JUST TALKED TO YOU BRA 😓 #tipQUAN Never go forget yo smile n the way talked n of course yo music 💯," he wrote.

"Rest in Peace my brother Rich Homie Quan. I love you for Life. #Richgang," R&B artist Jacquees tweeted before adding that RHQ was a "legend."

Lil Duval also paid tribute to the Atlanta native on Instagram.

Playboi Carti and Quavo remembered the rapper's legacy on their Instagram stories, sharing photos and videos of him.
