Former President Donald Trump served french fries at McDonald's in Pennsylvania, jabbing Vice President Kamala Harris' previous experience at the fast-food chain in the process.

On Sunday (October 20), Trump appeared at the McDonald's in Feasterville where he wore an apron, served as a fry cook, and filled several orders through the drive-thru window, per NBC News.

The Feasterville franchise closed during normal business hours for Trump's appearance. The customers who went through the drive-thru were reportedly preselected by the local fast-food chain and Trump's campaign team. Their cars were also pre-screened and searched, according to reports.

During the appearance, Trump trolled Harris for touting that she previously worked at a McDonald's in Alameda, California while she was a student at Howard University. The former president has accused Harris of lying about her experience in an attempt to relate to the working class.

“It was a big part of her resume that she worked at McDonald’s — how tough a job it was,” Trump said Sunday. “She … made the french fries, and she talked about the heat: ‘It was so tough.’ She’s never worked at McDonald’s.”

In a statement, Ian Sams, a Harris spokesperson, shot back at Trump's comments.

“When Trump feels desperate, all he knows how to do is lie,” Sams said. “He can’t understand what it’s like to have a summer job because he was handed millions on a silver platter, only to blow it.”

During his McDonald's shift, Trump also chatted with customers about how he made their food himself and assured them that they wouldn't have to pay for their meals.

“There will be no charge,” he said. “Trump is paying for it. … This is all on Trump, am I allowed to do that?”

Sunday also marked Harris' 60th birthday. When Trump was informed of the news, he said “I think I’ll get her some flowers," adding “Maybe I’ll get her some fries.”
